WORLDS 2014 - MOSCOW!!!04.08.2014

Tomorrow heading off to WORLDS 2014 in MOSCOW!!! Can’t wait to race again!!

After two weeks of good training in Kienbaum the German team will start the last big and most important journey of 2014 tomorrow morning! Everybody seems to be in a good shape and more important, everybody is healthy. After the Europeans in Brandenburg 4 weeks ago, with I would say „solid results“ we all want to know what is possible this year. For sure there will be some tough races – starting on Thursday and finishing on Sunday! So if someone wants to follow us you will find a lot on EUROSPORT in the TV and ZDF. The exact times I will post later.

This year I will start in three different disciplines. Most important one the K1 1000m, then the longest one – K1 5000m, a really tough, great race (shown on the picture at this years world cup in Szeged; picture: Ute Freise). The K1 500m is an additional gift because our hero in this distance, Tom Liebscher will focus on the K2 200m with Ronald Rauhe. The schedule doesn’t allow him to start in both disciplines. I promise to give my best to replace him – will not be the easiest job after the 5000m race!!

Now starting with the last three sessions in Kienbaum this year! See you in MOSCOW tomorrow!!
